Author Guidelines

  1. General Requirements
  • Originality: Manuscripts must be original, not previously published, and not under review in other journals.
  • Language: Manuscripts should be written in English, using clear, concise, and academic language.
  • Review: All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  1. Types of Contributions

       JRBS accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  • Original research articles
  • Theoretical and conceptual papers
  • Critical literature reviews
  • Case studies or comparative studies in religion and belief systems
  1. Manuscript Preparation
  • Format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing
  • Paper size: A4, margins 3 cm (top/left) and 2.5 cm (bottom/right)
  • Length: 5,000 – 8,000 words, including tables, figures, and references
  1. Structure of the Manuscript

        A standard research article should include:

  1. Title (concise, max. 15 words)
  2. Author(s) Name(s) & Affiliation(s) (full name, institution, country, email of corresponding author)
  3. Abstract (150–250 words: background, objectives, methods, results, conclusions)
  4. Keywords (3–6 words)
  5. Introduction (background, literature review, research gap, objectives)
  6. Methodology (research design, data sources, data collection, analysis)
  7. Findings and Discussion (data presentation, interpretation, connection with previous studies)
  8. Conclusion (main findings, implications, and recommendations)
  9. Acknowledgments (optional)
  10. References (APA 7th edition style)
  11. Tables and Figures
  • Must be clearly numbered and titled
  • Figures should be high resolution (min. 300 dpi)
  • If adapted, the original source must be acknowledged
  1. Citation and References
  • Use APA 7th edition citation style
  • Recommended to use Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote
  • At least 70% of references must be scholarly journal articles (preferably within the last 10 years)
  1. Ethical Considerations
  • Manuscripts must be plagiarism-free (similarity index ≤ 20%)
  • Research involving human subjects must indicate ethical compliance and approval where necessary
  1. Submission Process
  • Submit manuscripts via the official JRBS online submission system
  • Authors must register and log in before submission
  1. Article Processing Charge (APC)
  • No submission fee
  • Possible APC upon acceptance (details on journal website)
  1. Copyright and Licensing
  • Authors retain copyright
  • Published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0)
